Nikita Anand - Naval Show
Biography-
An hourglass figure, a flawless complexion, silky jet-black tresses and a cool as cucumber disposition - that’s Sunsilk Femina Miss India Universe 2003 Nikita Anand for you. Even for someone who has known this beauty for five minutes, it doesn’t take too much to understand her bindaas nature.
With an army man as her father, this Jallandhar born 5’8” beauty has travelled extensively throughout the country and stayed in Pune, Ranchi and Mumbai, before she settled down in Delhi about two-and-a-half years back. Owing to her father’s transferable job, she studied in St. Mary’s, Pune; Bishop Cottons, Ranchi; Cathedral & John Cannon, Mumbai; and NIFT, Delhi. She has even done a 3-year course in the Trinity School of Speech and Dramas.
Nikita entered the Miss India contest while she was ramp modeling along with fashion designing. She was declared the winner of Femina Miss India Universe 2003, which she thinks to be her biggest personal achievement apart from having won the “Face Hunt Model” title on India times in Delhi, 2002. A perfect blend of traditionalism and modernity, Nikita believes that staying firm to your roots is the real challenge in life. Asked about one thing she would like to change in India, pat comes the reply, 'Our legal system.'
A student of Fashion Designing, Nikita eventually wants to become a very successful fashion designer and create her own brand name. But for now, her sights are set on Bollywood. She’s a die-hard fan of Shah Rukh Khan and to work with the superstar is her ultimate dream.
Apart from modelling and designing, Nikita´s other passion in life is singing. While staying in Mumbai she even used to sing for a band at a club. "Music is my life, I can’t do without it," she signs off.
